About me.
An designer and material researcher with specific skills in conservation, retrofit, and residential design. I have formed an architectural language that is led by nature-based solutions and sympathetic design; my architectural approach draws on traditional craftsmanship, local materials and low-carbon solutions.
The challenge of an unusual and sensitive brief suits my naturally inquisitive and enthusiastic personality. I thrive in a dynamic work environment, progressing a range of projects simultaneously. Collaboration is an integral part of my practice, I believe meaningful partnerships with surrounding professionals and communities are invaluable.
As the direction of architecture shifts towards sustainability, I explore the potential of design innovation, ebbing and flowing between architectural design, traditional techniques and material limitations. My ambition is to create inclusivity and shared knowledge around sustainable architecture; engaging clients and communities with circular solutions that are both beautiful and exciting to inhabit.
